Paviors one of the best, according to Matlock supremo
HEAD coach Alan Johnson believes his Matlock side will be up against one of the best teams in Midlands One East when they take on Paviors tomorrow.
Johnson feels Paviors are better than their current position of fifth suggests.
When the sides met in September, Matlock were beaten 39-18.
"Paviors had a good win against Bedford last weekend, so it's going to be a hard game," he said.

"I always say they are one of the best teams in this league. It's just a case of how they play on the day."
Matlock have suffered back-to-back defeats since their nine-game winning streak was ended, which has seen them drop to seventh.
They narrowly lost 21-15 away to leaders Peterborough Lions last weekend.
"If we play like we did for the 20 minutes before half-time at Peterborough Lions, we will lose to Paviors but if we play like we did for the last 20 minutes, we'll give ourselves a very good chance," Johnson added.
"I'll be disappointed if we lose all three of these games before Christmas, so we want to finish the year on a high note."
George Whitaker and Tim Taylor could return from injury for Matlock, while Adam Twyford is back in contention after eye surgery and came off the bench at Peterborough.
