Peak District shopping centre changes name
A SHOPPING centre in the Peak District is re-branding in order to attract more customers.
Peak Village Outlet Shopping Village, at Rowsley, has changed its name to Peak Shopping Village.

Signage, logos and the centre's website are being updated to reflect the name change.
The changes are being rung by Richard Taylor, the centre’s managing agent, who took over in September.

He said: “We have decided to remove the reference to ‘outlet’ in the name.
“We were concerned that customers could be disappointed if they came expecting outlet prices in every store.
“Peak Village performs much more than the role of the standard outlet or factory shop and we needed to be clear to our customers about that.
“It is a more unique shopping village experience that we are offering.”
