Pedestrian is badly hurt in car collision
A PEDESTRIAN suffered extensive injuries when he was in collision with a car in Normanton in rush-hour traffic yesterday morning.
The incident happened on the corner of Portland Street and St Thomas Road at about 8.20am.
The man was taken to the Royal Derby Hospital and treated for a broken right ankle, a broken arm, fractured pelvis, broken ribs and a possible head injury.
