Peter's mission to co-ordinate county forces
THE assistant chief constable of Derbyshire police has been promoted to help lead the East Midlands' five constabularies.
Peter Goodman has become the Deputy Chief Constable to lead collaboration between the forces – a new role for the region and one of the first in England.
Mr Goodman will manage existing and new regional operational teams, including the East Midlands special operations and counter-terrorism intelligence units.
He will also run the East Midlands police collaboration programme, including joint regional work on operational and non-operational support services.
