Philpott trial: Court hears details about Mick Phiilpott's split with first wife
LISA Willis was not the first woman to have left Mick Philpott over his "controlling" behaviour, the court was told.
It heard Philpott's marriage to his first wife, Pamela Lomax – with whom he had three children – came to an end when he began an affair with a teenage girl, called Heather Keogh, in 1995.

Mr Latham, prosecuting, said: "She was 14 when she first met Philpott – he was 36.
"From the outset, she described him as domineering but sometimes charming. After some time, it became sexual."

He said Miss Keogh's parents strongly disapproved and Philpott's relationship with her deteriorated rapidly.
Mr Latham told the court the pair moved to Derby and set up home but he also had control of her financial affairs – such as her salary from a cleaning job and her savings.
He said: "Philpott himself didn't want to work – he just wanted a house full of kids."
The court was told there were "episodes of violence" and, eventually, she ran away.
