WAITING restrictions could be introduced on parts of two roads in Breaston.

The plan would make it easier for elderly and disabled blue badge holders to manoeuvre and access shops.

Derbyshire County Council has proposed the changes for The Green and Blind Lane. It also wants to introduce a disabled parking space in The Green with a 30-minute waiting limit between 9am and 6pm, Monday to Saturday.

Anyone interested in the proposed changes can look at detailed plans at County Hall, Matlock from 9am to 5pm, Monday to Friday or Long Eaton Library, Tamworth Road, Monday and Wednesday to Friday 9am to 7pm; Tuesday, 9am to 5pm, and Saturday 9am to 4pm.
