UPDATED: Police Constable who collapsed and died while on duty is named as Bruce Stevenson
A POLICE officer, who died after collapsing at work in Derby, has been named as PC Bruce Stevenson.
The 47-year-old was declared dead yesterday afternoon after falling ill at Cotton Lane police station, where he was stationed.
A spokesman for Derbyshire police said: "We can confirm that PC Stevenson died yesterday afternoon after collapsing while on duty at Cotton Lane police station in Derby.
"The cause of the death is not yet known and there are no suspicious circumstances."
