Police appeal for witnesses after Pride Park assault leaves man with serious injuries
A 40-year-old football fan suffered serious facial injures when he was punched by another supporter.
The 40-year-old had been to the Rams Forest match in January with his two sons and as the family walked away from the ground, they noticed police officers telling a group of rowdy men to calm down.

As they walked through the Toys R Us car park, the 14-year-old boy told his dad that one of the men had punched him in the back of the head as they had walked past.
His father turned to the man to challenge him but a second man stepped forward and punched the victim in the face.

He suffered a fractured eye socket and broken nose and required surgery.
The man who punched the boy is described as white, wearing a beige coat and glasses. The man who assaulted his dad is described as white with brown hair. He wore a brown Puffa-style jacket and glasses.
The incident happened at around 3.15pm on Saturday, January 19, after the Derby County Vs Nottingham Forest match.
