Police looking for a woman who punched a fellow dog walker in Derby have released an image of someone they wish to speak to.

The victim was verbally abused by her attacker and then struck to the face and body at Darley Park at 2.25pm on January 31.

The 42-year-old woman victim was walking with her dog through the park when there was an altercation between her pet and two dogs owned by another woman.

The owner of the two dogs then approached the woman attacked her and pulled a clump of her hair out.

The attacker was white, aged between 35 and 40 with blonde, bobbed, shoulder-length hair.

Anyone with information about the incident is asked to please contact PC Janagal from Darley Safer Neighbourhood Policing Team on 101.

“@ tailspin - this was the priginal story: http://tinyurl.com/7r2c6xm

The attacker had two dogs, "a small white and brown terrier and a small, wiry, brown haired stocky dog".

Let's hope someone does recognise her from the details given.”

“What breed of dogs was this woman walking? Regular Darley Park Dogwalkers would easily be able to help identify with this information.”
