Police set up fitness sessions for Sawley youngsters
YOUNGSTERS in Sawley are getting the chance to lace up their gloves in the name of fitness and crime-fighting.
Derbyshire police are offering free Ozbox sessions, which involves non-contact boxing and fitness training to youngsters aged 11 to 19 years old.
Police says the sessions are about having fun but they also teach young people to take pride in themselves and in their community.
The sessions will take place on a Wednesday evening between 6pm and 7pm for a course of six weeks.
Orders taken over £2000 , will receive £100 off and the option to take 2 years interest free credit

The first session will start next Wednesday at Sawley Community Centre, in Draycott Road.
Police Community Support Officer Paul Boss, from the village's safer neighbourhood policing team, said: "We hope local youngsters will make the most of these sessions.
"They are a unique combination of circuit training and boxing skills and are designed to improve confidence, discipline and fitness.
"With the start of a new year, these sessions provide a good incentive for youngsters to increase their fitness levels and to learn something new as well."
