Pregnant Kate Middleton bikini photos to be published by Italian magazine
The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge face a new privacy battle today as a foreign magazine is to publish pregnant bikini photos of Kate.
The intimate photos, taken of the couple on holiday in the Caribbean island of Mustique, are to be published today by Italian gossip magazine Chi. The magazine sparked outrage in September last year when it printed topless photos of the duchess.
The topless snaps, captured while the royal couple sunbathed on the terrace of a chateau, were also published by French magazine Closer and the Irish Daily Star.
The latest bikini photos are believed to have been taken with a long lens and show the 31-year-old duchess walking with her husband on a beach in the privately owned island of Mustique, where paparazzi are banned. They are thought to show clearly Kate’s pregnancy bump.

It is understood Chi also plans to publish photos of the duchess’s sister, Pippa, also bikini-clad in Mustique.
Australian magazine Woman's Day is also set to run the photos. Its editor Fiona Connolly reportedly claimed the duchess was on a public beach and said the pictures were taken by a fellow holidaymaker – not a paparazzo.
Connolly reportedly told Australia’s Herald Sun: "She is on a public beach and she was mingling with holiday makers.
“There are other holiday makers in the photos. It’s a very different situation to the nude photos, there is no photographer hiding in the bushes and she is not inside a private villa."
St James’ Palace has condemned the magazine over its decision. A spokesman said: “We are disappointed that photographs of the Duke and Duchess on a private holiday look likely to be published overseas.
“This is a clear breach of the couple’s right to privacy.”
The pregnant bikini photos could fetch £250,000 if touted around the world, the Mirror reports.
The duchess, who was treated for extreme morning sickness in December last year, is expected to give birth in July.
