A RECENT story involved allegations that the head of the Catholic Church in Scotland had been involved in sexual misconduct.
Why is it that Catholic priests must be unmarried?
These men are the same as the rest of us, with the same desires. Surely it is better that these desires should be satisfied with a woman, rather than the path many of them have taken.
The other item which the new Pope will have to tackle is the need for controlling the birth rate. Here we are in the 21st century, seeing religion still behaving as if we are still in the 1st century.
