Property show will go ahead after all, organisers confirm
AN annual property show in Derby, which looked like it might not go ahead this year because of a falling number of exhibitors, will take place in May.
Last year's Derby Property and Business Investment Show, which took place at Pride Park Stadium, attracted a record 500 people.
But following the event, organiser Martin Freeman expressed doubts about whether the event would return in 2012 because of falling exhibitor numbers.
It has now been confirmed that the show will return and will take place at the same venue on Wednesday, May 16. Exhibitors will include a mix of developers, commercial property agents, architects and other companies involved in the property and investment sector.
Regular exhibitors include Rigby and Co, Marketing Derby, the Cathedral Quarter, FHP, Innes England and Pick Everard.
As well as an exhibition, the event also features talks by guest speakers. At last year's event, Dave Bullock, managing director of Compendium Living, the company behind the £100 million urban village scheme for Castleward, was among the speakers.
The line-up for this year's event is yet to be confirmed.
