Pub firm to create 1,000 jobs in the UK
PUB and brewing firm Marston's has said it could create more than 1,000 bar jobs over the next 12 months as it looks to open more new pubs.
The firm, which owns several pubs in Derbyshire and brews its flagship Pedigree ale in Burton, is planning to open more than 20 pubs in 2013.
Each new Marston's pub creates around 40 to 50 jobs.
Peter Dalzell, Marston's Inns and Taverns' managing director, said: "We will be on track for 20 to 25 more in the next 12 months.

“How many of those 40-50 jobs are full time and pay a wage to allow a person to live without claiming aid from the state?”
