PUPILS at a Derby secondary school have been taking part in an event aimed at preparing them for employment.

The Enterprise Day at Noel-Baker Community School focused on helping pupils build their self-esteem and improve their financial abilities.

Local companies, including Egg, helped them practise job-hunting, writing applications and job interviews.

Teacher Bryan Balser said: "The event is of great benefit to students."
