BRISTOL City say they will not be signing former Alfreton Town defender Kyle McFadzean this month.

The Robins had agreed a fee of around £500,000 for the Crawley Town centre-back but have pulled out of the deal due to concerns over his current fitness.

The 25-year-old has been out of action since November with a viral infection.

Bristol boss Sean O'Driscoll says he is still keen to sign McFadzean in the summer.
