Rams set to sign Pool keeper Martin on loan
LIVERPOOL goalkeeper David Martin is set to join Derby County on a month's loan today.
The Rams have turned to the 24-year-old because first-choice keeper Stephen Bywater is struggling with a back injury and Saul Deeney is suspended this weekend after being sent off in Tuesday's defeat at Reading.

Martin, who stands 6ft 2in, could go straight into the side to face Doncaster Rovers at the Keepmoat Stadium.
The former England Youth international has not made a first-team appearance for Liverpool but has had loan spells at Accrington Stanley, Leicester City, Tranmere Rovers and Leeds United.
He started as a trainee at MK Dons and is the son of former West Ham United and England defender Alvin Martin.
Everton striker James Vaughan has joined Leicester City on an initial one-month loan.
The 21-year-old's loan spell at Derby earlier this season was cut short by a knee injury and the Rams hoped he would rejoin them once fit.
Leicester chairman Milan Mandaric hopes Vaughan can help provide firepower in the absence of the injured Matty Fryatt.
"It was unfortunate to lose Fryatt but James is a proper player," said Mandaric.
"It wasn't simple. The player was wanted by other teams. I have a good relationship with the Everton chairman and I said to him that my manager would like the player and your manager wants him to get additional experience, so let's close the deal."
Vaughan's move has disappointed Derby, who said they had an agreement for first option on the player.
Vaughan was said to be keen to return.
But the goalposts appeared to move some weeks ago when it was reported that Everton were looking for a significant loan fee,
The Rams brought in young forward Gilles Sunu on loan from Arsenal.
Doncaster manager Sean O'Driscoll has confirmed the club will not be extending Coventry City defender Elliott Ward's loan spell.
Ward has made five appearances for Rovers, all in the starting line-up, since arriving on loan in the middle of last month and will play his last game for O'Driscoll's side in tomorrow's clash with Derby.
O'Driscoll said: "Financially we can't afford it. We're hoping Shelton Martis will now be fit."
