Rams have been shunted into a sidings by Clough
IT is five years since the current Derby County owners took over the club and what have they achieved?
I think that can easily be summed up as "not a lot".
Nigel Clough, on the back page of the Derby Telegraph recently, said he thought Derby County were on the right track. I rather fear they have been shunted into the sidings.
I feel Nigel Clough is still in the job for two reasons, firstly because of who his dad was, and secondly, because he is a yes man and does not make any waves with the owners.

As a manager he does not inspire me and I do not think he has a good grasp of management.
He shows no signs of ambition and I am sure that is reflected by the way the team perform.
I would encourage every Derby County fan not to buy a season ticket next season and show how you feel by talking with your feet. Derby County are sat mid-table and Clough thinks that this is OK.
It says it all when East Midlands Today appear to give more coverage to Notts County than Derby County.
I do feel that the team also have to take responsibility.
When I was working, if my team performed as Derby County do, then I would have been down the disciplinary route.
In today's football managers' climate, Nigel Clough should consider himself lucky to be in employment.

“What a load of utter 'shoe repairers'!
Par for the course for Mr MacDonald it appears. A regular contributor of letters of a similar level.”
