TWO Alfreton Town players have been named in the England C contingency squad for next month's International Challenge Trophy semi-final against Turkey.

Josh Law and Dan Bradley are on standby for Paul Fairclough's full national non-League squad ahead of the game at Dartford's Princes Park stadium on Tuesday, February 5.

Alfreton boss – and father of Josh – Nicky Law said: "I would not have thought there would be many clubs who have had as many different players chosen as us in recent seasons, so we are obviously doing something right.

"It is hopefully only a matter of time (until they make the full squad) with Josh and for Dan Bradley as well.

"Given their ages, I would imagine both of them will figure in in the next few England C squads, so long as they continue to play as well as they have been doing."

Law junior has been in the contingency squad three times in the past two years.

Of the current squad, Connor Franklin and Paul Clayton are full England C internationals, while Liam Hearn, Aden Flint and Kyle McFadzean were also capped while at the Impact Arena.
