REPTON School finished runners-up in the Rensburg Sheppards ISFA (Independent Schools Football Association) Under-15 Cup after losing a dramatic final at Burton Albion's Pirelli Stadium.

Repton eventually went down 3-1 to Essex opponents Brentwood after extra-time.

Will Hughes had put the Derbyshire side ahead after an hour but Austin Lipman levelled seven minutes later.

The tie went into extra-time and looked to be heading for a penalty shoot-out when, two minutes from the end, an unfortunate own goal put Brentwood ahead.

And victory was sealed moments later when Peter Brooking bundled home a third goal.

Repton had booked a place in their first ISFA final with a penalty shoot-out victory over Shrewsbury in the last four.

Before that, they knocked out Eton, King's School in Chester and Wolverhampton Grammar.
