Rhinos battle hard in defeat to Ilkeston
RIPLEY Rhinos ultimately came up short in their friendly at Ilkeston fourths.
The Elks managed two unconverted tries in the first half but Ripley hit back with a great solo effort from captain Will Evans that the fly half converted himself.
Ilkeston enjoyed the majority of the possession after the break and scored twice more to seal the victory.
Rhinos can be pleased with their performance, though.
