Traffic in the centre of Derby will face hold-ups on St Alkmund's Way and its approaches from King Street as rush hour begins.

This will have a knock on effect on Kedleston Road inbound and there is slow traffic at the Five Lamps.

There are likely to be queues in both directions on the A52 near Prince Charles Avenue, Mackworth because of the road works.

This is also the main route to Ashbourne for the Royal Shrovetide football, starting today.
