SNOOKER World champion Ronnie O'Sullivan has visited the Hilton Hotel at East Midlands airport to launch a charity challenge.

The hotel chain's Around the World in a Day event will see staff from 70 hotels across the country and members of the local community attempt to run 24,902 miles - the circumference of the earth.

Rocket Ronnie clocked up the first three miles on a treadmill at the airport hotel this morning.

Money raised at the Castle Donington leg will be donated the Derby Toc-H Children's Camp, which funds holidays for disadvantage children.
