Rolling road block in place on the A50 to remove icicles from bridge
POLICE have been forced to put a rolling road block in place after dangerous icicles were found to be hanging from a bridge on the A50.
The block was keeping the carriageway free for contractors from the Highways Agency to safely dislodge the ice from the bridge between junctions four and five at around 1pm on both east and westbound carriageways.
