Rolling road block set up while fire extinguished on M1
TRAFFIC on the M1 in the area around junction 28 near Alfreton was delayed for a time this evening as police created a rolling road block while a car fire was put out.
The car was situated on the between the entry and exit slip roads on the southbound carriageway of the motorway.

Fire crews from Alfreton and Chesterfield attended the scene at 8.45pm and the road was fully re-opened by 9.30pm
