Rolls-Royce employees extinguish engine test bed blaze
A blaze in an aero-engine test bed at Rolls-Royce in Derby has been extinguished by staff.
The fire started at the firm's Wilmore Road site at 2.55pm today.

A fire service spokeswoman said:"Two Rolls-Royce employees were using breathing apparatus while putting out the flames.
"Firefighters from Ascot Drive Fire Station were standing by to assist but weren't needed."

Later, a fire service spokesman said the cause of the blaze was "aviation oil in an engine block which had ignited".
The blaze was out by 4pm and no-one was injured.
