Rowett asks Blackburn if he can keep loan star O'Connor beyond January
GARY Rowett has already asked Blackburn Rovers about his chances of keeping right-back Anthony O'Connor for the season.
O'Connor's youth loan from the Championship club runs until January but the 20-year-old has made a huge impression with the Brewers.

"He's a really good young player who has come in and nailed down a place."
O'Connor's success has been bad news for the long-serving Andy Corbett, who has often not made the match-day squad since O'Connor replaced him.
"I feel for Andy Corbett," added Rowett.
"It's so hard to leave him out of the squad because his character, his mentality and his work-rate are just what you look for in a player. I wish I had a few more like him around."
