THE weigh-in for Derbyshire entrants in the ABA Senior Championships were held before the start of the Championship Finals night at Pride Park.

There will be eight entries from the county, all of them at different weights, which meant there was no need for box-offs to decide the Derbyshire champion on the night.

The Midlands semi-finals are to be held on March 4 and the Derbyshire entries are:

Flyweight: Jamie Williams (Trinity), featherweight: Ashley Greaves (South Normanton), lightweight: Adam Sircar (Buxton), light-welterweight: Kristian Davey (Spire), middleweight: Rod Smith (Spire), light-heavyweight: Ricky Pearce (South Normanton), heavyweight: Russ Henshaw (Trinity), super-heavyweight: Jake Harrison (Trinity).
