Saboteurs need to be monitored
I AM afraid the letter from Colin Grimley (Opinion, March 17) misses the point. Trevor Morse, a hunt follower who died when hit by a gyrocopter, was carrying out an activity bound by the law – albeit a bad, flawed, unworkable law.
But whoever was responsible for his death should be brought before the courts.
It is vital the Civil Aviation Authority ensures there is no repeat of such an incident.
It is also necessary to make sure hunt monitors abide by the same laws as the hunt supporters and followers, not trespassing, respecting others etc.
But sadly, monitors and saboteurs are often thugs who wear masks and intimidate law-abiding citizens.
