Sainsbury's announce plan for 150 new jobs at Chaddesden store
SUPERMARKET chain Sainsbury's has announced plans to extend its Chaddesden store creating up to 150 new jobs.
The company is looking to grow its existing store at Wyvern Retail Park by 28,700sq ft and create 200 extra parking spaces with a two-tier car park.

A planning application is due to be submitted to Derby City Council. In the meantime, Sainsbury's will put the plans on display at the store and will be asking customers for their views.

“Let's hope these plans include improvements to the God-awful access to and from the store which is already a serious consideration when contemplating where to do the weekly shop.
They should open up an exit behind the petrol station rather than filtering everyone out onto the already-gridlocked Wyvern roads.”
