WORK costing more than £130,000 is due to be carried out refurbishing the toilet and cloakroom of a junior school.

County councillors are expected to give the £131,138 scheme at Newhall Junior School the go-ahead on Monday.

A total of £100,000 for the work will come from the county council's modernisation budget and the remainder from the school's funds.
