JACK Black got some advice from his famous co-stars when it came to tackling his role of a drug addict in new comedy movie Tropic Thunder.

"I watched a movie that Ben Stiller did called Permanent Midnight in which he played a heroin addict," Jack told Access Hollywood, adding that Robert Downey Jr, who has battled addiction in the past, also had some suggestions.
