Snow: School closures in Derbyshire for Tuesday, January 22
Derbyshire County Council has put out the following school closure or late opening alerts. The list was updated at 10.20am.
Ripley Nursery School - closed due to emergency electrical repairs. Childcare open for under 3s only.

*Brookfield Primary School - closed.
*Edale CofE Primary School - is closed today and is expected to reopen tomorrow (January 23).

*Firfield Primary - closed today.
*Woodbridge Junior School - open from 10.00am to ensure the site is safe. Please be aware there will be no crossing patrol at this time.
*Anthony Bek Community Primary School - remains closed to all pupils today due to the icy conditions. Staff will be on site clearing the ice and snow to enable school to open safely tomorrow.
*Bramley Vale Primary School - open at 9.30am.
*Gilbert Heathcote Nursery and Infant School - will open at 9.30am.
*Granville Sports College - open as normal to all staff and students in Years 7, 10 and 11 only. Students in Years 8 & 9 should stay at home apart from the Year 9 students on the school trip with Mr Webster which is still going ahead.
*Frederick Gent School - open but students taking the chemistry exam need to arrive at the normal time and report to the school hall. All other students should arrive for 9.40am.
