BELPER'S Ritz cinema had a dose of Hollywood sparkle in a celebration of five years of classic Golden era films.

A handful of cinemagoers donned their most glamourous outfits for the celebration, which coincided with a screening of the Jane Russell and Marilyn Monroe classic Gentlemen Prefer Blondes.

Champagne and ice cream were served during the screening, which was attended by one film lover dressed as Marilyn Monroe, with the sparkling outfit created by Belper dressmaker Kay Hobson.
