Spondon bridge 36-year Jackson gap
SPONDON landed the Jackson Cup for the first time in 36 years when they beat Aston-on-Trent comfortably at Alvaston & Boulton.
Joe Ashdown's 72 was the main score as they reached 160-5 in their 20 overs. His brother Ben (23) and Tom Good (28) helped things along and Chris Windmill added a brisk 17 not out.
