Spondon in sizzling form as Sissons' hat-trick leads them to glory in the Cup
SPONDON Dynamo Yellow Sox put aside their problems in the league with a fantastic result in the Under-11 Cup.
Yellow Sox, who are just one point off the bottom of the table, edged out Belper Sports 7-6 with William Sissons netting a hat-trick.
Tyler McKay grabbed a brace of goals while Aaron Fitzsimmons – Spondon's player-of-the-match – added another goal to his tally for the season. Jack Lucas got the seventh.
Sammy Bacon (3), Lewis Barker, Oliver Bibby and George Ratcliffe were on the scoresheet for Belper.

Luke Wilson top-scored with five goals as Willington booked their place in the next round of the competition at the expense of Normanton All Stars.
Further goals from Zac Walker (3), Clark Belmore, Sam Rushton, Joe Morton and Shay Rainford completed the 13-0 success.
Group One leaders Derwent carried their impressive league form into the cup by beating Stanton Ilkeston 7-0.
Kyle Pearson-Slater scored a hat-trick with Joshua House netting twice. Strikes from Nathan Smith and Hayden Stone completed the scoring.
Kieran Rowland and Jake Slawson scored for Ilkeston Juniors as they beat Allestree Juniors Benfica 2-1, while two goals from Cole Hassell helped Mackworth St Francis to a 4-0 defeat of LE Colts.
Josh Claxton-Briggs and Lewis Taylor got the other two goals.
Adam Clark scored three as Duffield Dynamo Hawks beat Spondon Rovers Colts 6-5. Robert Dyson, Charlie Wright and Harry Bandridge were also on target.
Joe Reed netted the only goal as Ashbourne Aztecs beat Melbourne United Blue Sox, while strikes from Ryan Grace and Jack Robinson led Belper Town Juniors Black Sox to a 2-1 defeat of Sunnyhill Lions.
There were also some great games played in the Under-12 Lewis Mighty Memorial Trophy where Group Two leaders Mackworth St Francis beat Mickleover 95 Red Sox with a single strike from Joshua Walters.
Also through are Chellaston Boys Athletic, who beat Duffield Dynamo Black Sox 4-0 with goals from Harvey Hill (2), Joe Boulton and James Prior.
Harry Stewart and Reece Hughes bagged a brace each as Mickleover Sports beat Littleover Dazzlers 4-2.
The rest of the action took place in the league, where Derby Panthers United moved up to second in Under-11 Group One after beating New Boulton Athletic 4-0.
Tirhys Davidson led with a brace. Keanu Gordon and Aaron Johal got the other two.
In Group Two, Spondon Dynamo Black Sox beat Allenton United Red Sox 8-0 led by a Joe Thompson double
Connor Spencer and Lewis Gillman also scored.
Sherwin were 6-0 winners at Sinfin Sharks Black Sox led by two from Liam Farrell, while Pride Park Juniors beat Castle Donington 4-1, thanks to two goals each from Innes Macfarlane and Taylor Simpson.
Casey Morgan top-scored with a hat-trick as Mickleover Jubilee beat Duffield Dynamo Eagles 7-1 in Group Three.
Fergus Hernon's brace for Duffield Dynamo Harriers helped them take a point from a 2-2 draw with Field Lane in Under-12 Group One. Joe Fearn and Ben Wilkes replied.
Josh Cain was on target for Belper Sports in their 1-1 draw with St Georges in Group Two, while a goal each from Sam Meakin, Max Campbell and Jared Smith earned Heanor Town Juniors a share of the spoils against Ashbourne Aztecs.
The biggest win of the weekend took place in Group Three as Belper Town Juniors Gold Sox maintained their 100% record by beating New Boulton Athletic 15-0.
Harley Kozluk and Ollie Crelin both scored three with Joe Bacon, Luis Bates, Daniel Sanders and Sam Bunting getting two goals each. Ross Testro also scored.
