THE first pool party will be held at Moorways Swimming Pool to encourage youngsters to swim.

The party is being held by Derby City Council's b-active team and Ram FM this Saturday.

The fun will be hosted by Ram FM's Andy Miller and will consist of two sessions, one for eight to 16-year-olds taking place from 10.30am until noon and a session for under eights that will take place from 1pm until 2.30pm.

Activities on the day will include sea scooters, snorkelling and the inflatable aqua run.

Music from Ram RM will be played throughout the event and there will also be prizes up for grabs throughout the day.
