Squash: LA Fitness close the gap
LA FITNESS cut The Manor's lead at the top of Division One to five points in an unexpected 4-1 rout.
Critically, Manor were missing number one Jon Underhill and LA took full advantage.
Steve Smith's promotion to Manor's first team was rewarded with a 3-2 win over Paul Howell but Mike Lambert, Greg Loach, Matt Oxley and Ryan Loska made sure it was LA's day.
Brampton Manor eased their relegation worries with a 4-1 victory over Lumb Farm through Ashley Davies, Alex Cutts, Charlie Wall and Brendan Hickerman, while Matt Whitehead was Lumb Farm's sole success.
Duffield greeted Paul Hargrave's return to Derbyshire League squash with an excellent 3-2 win over a Repton side struggling with injuries.

In Division Three, Repton 2 put last round's loss behind them to beat Duffield 3 3-2 and keep well ahead of the pack.
John Kirtland out-powered Qamran Yaqoob 3-0 and with Simon Evans and Adrian Oldbury each winning 3-0, Repton stole the win.
Brampton's sleepy start to the season has finally been shrugged off with a convincing 4-1 win at home to Draycott.

Lumb Farm 3 missed the chance to put clear water between themselves and LA Fitness 4, losing 4-1, while Queen's Park 2 look odds-on to finish the first half of the season on top after a commanding 4-1 win over David Lloyd 3, who also lost 3-2 to Bradley House.
