Stanton: Top teams bring out our best
NATHAN Stanton has high hopes for the clash with Swindon Town tomorrow – because he believes Burton Albion play better against the top teams.
The Brewers defender is convinced they have put their "blip" behind them after three defeats on the bounce at the start of the year.

Nathan Stanton says Burton can put their blip behind them.
"Obviously, we had a bad period where we lost three on the trot and we've got two draws now – so we just need a win to kick start us again," said Stanton.
"After the Oxford game, the lads felt disappointed because it felt like we'd dropped two points.
"The previous week, we salvaged a point because, without creating too much, we got a lucky goal.
"Now we have a tricky bunch of fixtures coming up and we're going to have to get back to winning ways.
"But we play better against the top teams and seem to slip up against the bottom ones for some reason – I don't know why that is.
"We might, in our heads, think it's going to be too easy but we're professional footballers and we know that every game is going to bring different challenges.
"I really think the next 10 games are going to decide where we finish at the end of this season."
Stanton returned for the 1-1 draw at Bradford City a fortnight ago after missing three games with a shoulder injury.
"I really enjoy being back – I hate being injured, it's one of the worst things about being a footballer," he said.
"So now I'm just looking for a good run of games and I'm not going to look back, as whatever's happened in the past when it comes to injuries should stay in the past."
