Steve Daley joins ex-Derby County stars in Prims night
GRAHAM Street Prims are putting on an evening with Derby County favourites Kevin Hector and Roger Davies, along with former £1m man Steve Daley, at the Polish Club on Kedleston Road, Derby, on Friday November 23 (7.30pm).
Since retiring from the game, Daley has become one of the most sought-after speakers, as he relentlessly sends up the fact that he was, once, the most expensive footballer in Britain when he was transferred from Wolves to Manchester City for £1,475,500 in 1979.
When he was famously described as "the biggest waste of money in football history," his future career was sealed.
Tickets for the event are £10. Call John Lindsay on 07929 281527 for details.

“When Kevin Hector was about 40 and playing for Burton Albion, some scout said. "this young lad Hector looks quite good, he could have a big future in the game." So I suspect that Kev could get a game for Graham St Prims now and still knock a few in.”
