STRICTLY Come Dancing star Tom Chambers delighted customers at his local pub in Parwich last night by turning up to film a sequence for Saturday's show.

The Holby City star is a regular at the Sycamore Inn, where locals have crammed in on Saturday nights to watch the 31-year-old dance his way through to the later stages of the popular BBC show.

Tom's dance partner, Camilla Dallerup, was also there and the pair spent about an hour and a half talking to locals, much to the delight of landlady Janet Gosling.

"We all know Tom very well so it was nice to see Camilla," she said.

Tom, one of the four celebrities left in Strictly Come Dancing, attended Parwich Primary School with Janet, who said the actor's success on the show had made it an exciting time for the village.
