CASH from the sale of Derbyshire County Show tickets was stolen from a shop in Belper.

Money was taken from Belper Sports, in King Street, between 3pm and 3.30pm on Saturday.

Police said a white man, aged between 45 and 55, was twice seen in the store at the time.

He had short, dark hair, was of medium build and was 5ft 5ins tall.

He wore a lightweight jacket which was dark in colour.
