Timewasting? Not us – boss
GARY Rowett has hit back at critics who have claimed that Burton Albion indulge in gamesmanship by slowing games down – especially away from home.
The Brewers were accused of doing just that from quite early on in the first half in last week's defeat against Northampton Town – with goalkeeper Dean Lyness finding himself booed off by home supporters who thought he took too long over goal kicks.

"I can honestly say I've never once told Dean to take his time on the kicks. If he does, he's just regaining his composure after an incident.
"On the other side of the coin, Northampton had Ben Tozer taking about 45 seconds over his long throws.
"He was getting a towel and wiping the ball every time. But I don't have an issue with that. It's all part of the game."
