Toyota recalls Avensis and Corolla models
BURNASTON car-maker Toyota has announced it will be recalling more than 75,000 UK cars over a steering shaft issue.
The recall affects Avensis and Corolla models, built at Burnaston between July 2001 and March 2009.
The Prius, which is not made in Derbyshire, is also included in the recall.
Toyota said on certain models there could be a defect that reduces steering response.

The firm said there had been nine reported cases of the issue in Europe and no reports of any associated accidents.
