DERBYSHIRE Fire and Rescue Service have tackled a major fire in Shardlow.
Crews dealt with the blaze at Harlan Laboratories, Inc, formerly known as SafePharm Laboratories, on London Road.

Fire crews are tackling a major fire in Shardlow
Up to 21 fire crews, from across the county as well as Leicestershire and Nottinghamshire, were on the site at the height of the blaze, which is believed to have started in one of the labs at about 1.20am.
Area manager Gavin Tomlinson speaking at the scene said there was no suggestion that the blaze was started deliberately at this stage but a full investigation would be carried out during today.
