“Not to prejudge this specific incident, but insurance companies could sort a lot of bad driving out themselves by making illegal driving (dangerous driving, speeding, etc.) void the driver's/car's insurance.
If you had to pay for all the repairs to your own vehicle yourself, after driving like an idiot, you'd only do it once!
And, to avoid people just not getting insurance, add plate recognition cameras on the main access road into the city...”

“Duffield Rd is a 30 mph limit - though many people believe that 50 mph is just fine. At 11.20 the traffic hasn't been that slow moving recently.”

“Hope everybody involved is OK. I remember a certain Mr Bucknell saying accidents only happen along Duffield Road because of bus lanes, so I can't understand how this could have happened.”

“How the hell do people manage it? Too busy flicking their hair?
Or texting?
If someone brakes in front and you have to touch your brakes within 2 seconds, you are driving TOO CLOSE!”
