DERBY County legend Roy McFarland helped launch a running event in honour of his former bosses, Brian Clough and Peter Taylor.

The Clough Taylor People's Run – which will raise money for charities chosen by the late management duo's families – was launched at Donington Park yesterday.

Joining Roy were Mr Taylor's daughter, Wendy Dickinson, and former Nottingham Forest player Garry Birtles.

The 10k run will take place at Donington Park on Sunday, March 10.
