Man dead after A50 smash
A VAN driver has died following a crash on the A50.
The accident has happened eastbound on the road, near the slip road at junction 1, near Castle Donington, at about 9.25am.

Traffic was at a standstill after the crash on the A50.
Emergency services closed the road while the scene was cleared and one lane has now been reopened.
The driver of the van has since died of his injuries died but Leicestershire police could not give any further details at this time.
