Vickers cracks a second-half treble as Town juniors battle back to lift Cup
SAM Vickers' second-half hat-trick inspired a classic comeback as Belper Town Juniors beat local rivals Holbrook Sports 3-2 to lift the Under-18Cup at Moorways Stadium.
Holbrook were 2-0 up at half-time thanks to goals from Matthew Bailey and Callum Hyde but Vickers' second-half treble capped a remarkable turnaround and won the competition for Belper.
The Under-13 Cup final was just as dramatic, as Derwent FC beat Spondon Dynamos 1-0.
The game looked to be heading to extra time but Luke Morley scored in the dying minutes to hand the win to Derwent.
