Victim found with serious face injuries

A 36-YEAR-OLD suffered serious head injuries following an assault in Long Eaton.

Police were called to Buzz Bar, in High Street, shortly after 2am yesterday. They found paramedics outside tending to the man.

    Derbyshire police were called to the Buzz Bar, in Long Eaton

He was taken to the Queen's Medical Centre, in Nottingham, where he was found to have fractures to his eye socket and nose and had several lose teeth.

Last night he remained in hospital.
